Data Product Manager
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the planning and operations of Shopline’s data products. This position requires close collaboration with data engineers, system architects, data analysts and product teams to ensure our data services meet user needs, improve company efficiency and align with data governance best practices.
【What You’ll Be Doing】
- Plan the direction of Shopline’s data services (DaaS) and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure alignment with the overall company strategy.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to determine the best data architecture solutions.
- Prioritize data product development opportunities based on user feedback, internal business priorities and market trends.
- Oversee data product development and deployment process to ensure high quality delivery of products.
- Ensure stable and efficient operation of data services and assist in troubleshooting.
- Become the company’s data expert and go-to-person for all data related questions and needs.
- Manage cross-team data-related technical projects, ensuring successful completion within specified timeframes and budgets.
- Drive data governance initiatives, including data security, data quality, data lineage, data classification and metadata management.
【Who We Are Looking For】
- Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant fields preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on data products or services.
- Familiarity with data architecture (e.g. Data Lake, Data Pipelines) and applications.
- Experience with SQL and database technologies for data manipulation and querying.
- Excellent communication skills in Chinese & English and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and willing to take ownership in products and tasks.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability.
- Passionate about data technology and applications, and eager to learn the latest trends in the field.
